I'm Sunita, IVF warrior of two little girls. I'm also the Founder of Lucky Things Blog and the Lucky Things Meet Ups. I feel the list could go on as Lucky Things is way more than just a blog. Lucky Things is all about connecting confidence with your career and wellbeing and it's cool people get to experience my blog in real life. As a senior HR and development expert I'm now running events, workshops as well as launching webinars and online courses. I want to give women across the world the chance to feel more confident about managing their career and their wellbeing.

After university I worked in editorial, the music industry, DJ-ing and fashion for a few years. Being on stage on The Top of The Pops was an interesting highlight in my career. All of these moves grew my career resilience and networking skills. I soon realised I wanted more of a stable career and moved into my first HR role. My HR career has given me so much and I'm lucky to have worked with some amazing teams and organisations. I'm also grateful for working at a very supportive bosses when I went through IVF treatment.

Lucky Things Blog started on the sofa one evening during my second maternity leave. The PND cloud was hovering over me and my husband said it's time to set up my blog - sometime I'd wanted to do three years ago. He helped me to set up all of the platforms in one evening. At the same time, I also knew that I wanted to set up my own HR consultancy - Collective Insight. So, I took the leap last November to get it all started.

It's great that I'm able to use my HR and coaching expertise over the past 15 years to help different businesses. I'm also working with corporate and creative organisations to provide them with tailored mindfulness workshops for their leaders and teams - having joined forces with leading mindfulness expert Dr. Tamara Russell.

With my coaching, it's really rewarding to be working with a diverse group of women on different career journeys. I was lucky to have worked at three major organisations who invested a lot in my own skills and expertise over the last 15 years. Not everyone has this support during their career. So, I want learning and development to be accessible. That's why I started the Lucky Things Meet Ups - I love that they're known for being inclusive, inspiring and friendly networking events for women and the talks are all about boosting your confidence. Being a collaborator is a real motivator for me so they also give me the chance to work with other experts. The response has been amazing and they're now sell-out events across the UK.

This time last year I wouldn't have thought I would be interviewed on national BBC Radio about my blog and Instagram corner, speaking about wellbeing at the blogging conference Blogtacular, a Finalist for the Inspire category for the Brilliance in Blogging Awards and a Runner Up for the Top London Mummy Blogger Award. There have been lots of setbacks too over the last year so you have to keep making small steps in the right direction. I've learnt that when you're running your own business, people don't always see the hard work behind the scenes. That's why it's always good to learn some tricks to boost my own confidence too!

Thanks again for featuring me on your inspiring online home Johanna.
